GFW Global Champion Nick Aldis makes headlines in the United Kingdom

Global Force Wrestling ran its first shows in the United Kingdom this week and fans got to see Global Champion Nick Aldis in action for the first time since becoming champion at the recent GFW Amped tapings. Needless to say, the crowds in Grimsby and Kings Lynn, England were buzzing over hometown star Nick Aldis and Global Force Wrestling and the media was in full force for GFW!

Aldis told Lynn News back in July that he was excited to be back and proud to be part of GFW’s first UK shows. “King’s Lynn is where I was born and where I’ve always been announced from, so it will be great to finally appear on a major show in my hometown.”

Global Force Wrestling received an amazing amount of requests to bring the brand to the United Kingdom and the fans in Grimsby and Kings Lynn did not disappoint. GFW’s plan was to bring high-caliber shows to tows that hadn’t previously had access to them since most companies stay in cities like London, Manchester, and Glasgow. The fans in Grimsby and Kings Lynn were amazing and we can’t wait to do more shows in the United Kingdom in the near future.
