Sometimes dubbed “The Carolina Caveman”, this North Carolina native doesn’t necessarily have the most well-groomed or attractive photo on the GFW roster. But still in his very early-20s and already receiving worldwide success, he may just go down as one of the most successful stories of his era. Lee got a major jump-start on the competition in numerous ways… not only wrestling since his mid-teens, but also doing so under the tutelage of Matt & Jeff Hardy.
Lee has also captured major championship gold on a number of occasions as well – from the heavyweight title of the Hardys’ OMEGA promotion, to PWG Tag Titles with fellow GFW roster member Andrew Everett, to successfully representing Global Force Wrestling on TNA Impact Wrestling, where he & Brian Myers defeated The Wolves (Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards) to become TNA World Tag Team Champions. With a combination of aerial offense and high intensity strikes, Lee is a dangerous foe regardless of circumstances, and much unlike his nickname, he is very calculated and intelligent in execution. Already embarking on a similar path of success as Matt & Jeff Hardy, we could very well one day be saying the name Trevor Lee in the same breath if he continues his current pace of success.
