PJ Black

PJ Black is an adrenaline junkie. Known as the “Darewolf”, this Capetown, South Africa native just isn’t interested unless there’s serious risk involved. Whether it’s riding a motorcycle or jumping out of an airplane, Black is always looking to push his boundaries and test his limits. Some may know Black best as Justin Gabriel, who sparked controversy as part of the short-lived Nexus faction in WWE, on the road to winning three separate World Tag Team Titles. However, it seemed like PJ’s previous place of employment was a bit too safe and sterile for him, and he chose the path less traveled, opting to travel the world seeking out new challenges and opportunities. It’s only natural that Black wind up in GFW, and is a natural fit as part of the NEX*GEN Division. Black brings the same high-octane, adrenaline-fueled style he lives by outside the ring into the GFW ring as well.

From various dives and risks to his patented 450 Splash, Black has no problem putting his own body at risk for the sake of competition. That fact was very evident when Black survived one of the most unique and dangerous matches in wrestling – The King of the Mountain Match – to become the first man to win that championship following Jeff Jarrett’s surrendering of the title. This is only the beginning for PJ Black. In a company all about taking risks and seeing how far one can push themselves, PJ Black fits like a glove, and truly embodies the GFW spirit. Black’s grit and determination paid off when he made history in 2015 by becoming the first-ever GFW NEX*GEN Champion.
